Front and centre is the Xmas Adventure, our tour for the festive season. You can book any of these tours as a team building event.
In teams, you puzzle your way through Aue, collect points, and afterwards celebrate the team with the most points over dinner. The programme comes from myCityHunt, you choose the venue and menu yourselves.
A Christmas party in Aue works best when the two halves are kept apart: the programme and the meal. You bring the people together beforehand, out in the centre of Aue, where the restaurants already are. The puzzle tour does exactly that. Teams play against each other through the app, which shows the route, sets riddles, codes and photo challenges, and counts up the points as they go. A team chat keeps everyone connected, a leaderboard keeps score, and a shared gallery fills with the photos along the way. Nobody needs anything but a charged phone.
In Aue, you can choose from a Xmas Adventure, an Escape Game, a Murder Mystery Tour or a Treasure Hunt — all the same format underneath, built as a puzzle tour, just with a different story carrying it. Whichever one your team picks, the app leads them along a fixed route past places like the Bahnhofsbrücke Aue or Mater Dolorosa, roughly four kilometres and about three hours on foot through the centre. How quickly each team moves between stations is entirely up to them, which is part of what makes the leaderboard interesting by the end.
Because it all happens on foot in the centre of Aue, the walk to dinner afterwards is short — the venue and the menu stay entirely yours to arrange. Pricing starts from € 16.99 per person plus VAT, and you set the date and time yourself when booking, with bookings possible up to two days beforehand. Payment is by invoice, credit card or PayPal, and you always receive a proper VAT invoice.
Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors. Whether industry, retail, government or services: myCityHunt scavenger hunts are an excellent teambuilding event for your company outing, department party or team event - and that at 6,467 locations around the world.
How about a puzzle tour through Aue with the myCityHunt app as the program before dinner? Your team heads out in small groups, solves challenges at landmarks across the city, and competes team against team for the top spot on the live leaderboard. Several themes are available, and the tour ends in time for the meal.
The tour comes before the meal: about three hours outdoors in Aue, and everyone is back in time for dinner. You book the restaurant, and the program before it comes from myCityHunt. For the organizer, that leaves little more to do than picking the date and putting the teams together.
A Christmas party that starts out in the city instead of at the table: your company splits into teams and heads through Aue before the meal, collecting points against the other teams. If a team gets stuck, a myCityHunt guide is just a chat message away. The date is yours to pick, even at short notice in December, and venue and menu stay entirely your decision.
The tour through Aue is priced from € 16.99 per person, and you receive an invoice for the booking. Food and drinks afterward are planned by you, so the budget for the evening stays in your hands.
Yes, in a single booking, split into teams that all start together. The price per person stays the same regardless of group size. Mixing departments when forming the teams works well and gets colleagues talking who otherwise rarely cross paths.
You choose the date and the time. The booking is valid for any day you like, in December just like the rest of the year, and the tour starts once the whole team has arrived. Short-notice bookings work too.
Around three hours. That makes it the first half of the evening: the tour first, then dinner with plenty to talk about.
The tour takes place outdoors in Aue, and you can pause it at any point. If the rain gets heavy or the snow piles up, warm up somewhere dry and pick up right where you left off. Warm jackets and sturdy shoes are part of a Christmas party in December.
