Front and centre is the Xmas Adventure, our tour for the festive season. You can book any of these tours as a team building event.
In teams, you puzzle your way through Mering, collect points, and afterwards celebrate the team with the most points over dinner. The programme comes from myCityHunt, you choose the venue and menu yourselves.
A Christmas party in Mering works best when the programme and the evening are kept apart but still handed to the same people. We bring the programme: a puzzle tour that gets your colleagues out of their chairs and into teams, working their way through Mering with nothing but their phones and their wits. You bring the room and the menu — whatever restaurant or venue you've already got sorted, or none at all yet, it doesn't matter. The tour finishes in the centre, close to wherever dinner is booked, so there's no awkward gap between activity and table.
In Mering you can choose between Xmas Adventure, Escape Game, Murder Mystery Tour and Treasure Hunt — all run the same way, through the app, with a fixed route for each format that takes teams past corners of the city such as the Torhaus. The app sets the riddles, codes and photo challenges, collects the answers and keeps score, while a team chat and live leaderboard keep the competition going between groups. It's around four kilometres on foot and about three hours, with each team setting its own pace along the way.
Booking a Christmas party in Mering costs from € 16.99 per person plus VAT. You choose the date and time when you book, and can do so right up to two days beforehand. We invoice by bank transfer, credit card or PayPal, always with a proper VAT invoice — so the only thing left for you to organise is the table.
Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors. Whether industry, retail, government or services: myCityHunt scavenger hunts are an excellent teambuilding event for your company outing, department party or team event - and that at 6,467 locations around the world.
How about a puzzle tour through Mering with the myCityHunt app as the program before dinner? Your team heads out in small groups, solves challenges at landmarks across the city, and competes team against team for the top spot on the live leaderboard. Several themes are available, and the tour ends in time for the meal.
The tour comes before the meal: about three hours outdoors in Mering, and everyone is back in time for dinner. You book the restaurant, and the program before it comes from myCityHunt. For the organizer, that leaves little more to do than picking the date and putting the teams together.
A Christmas party that starts out in the city instead of at the table: your company splits into teams and heads through Mering before the meal, collecting points against the other teams. If a team gets stuck, a myCityHunt guide is just a chat message away. The date is yours to pick, even at short notice in December, and venue and menu stay entirely your decision.
The tour through Mering is priced from € 16.99 per person, and you receive an invoice for the booking. Food and drinks afterward are planned by you, so the budget for the evening stays in your hands.
Yes, in a single booking, split into teams that all start together. The price per person stays the same regardless of group size. Mixing departments when forming the teams works well and gets colleagues talking who otherwise rarely cross paths.
You choose the date and the time. The booking is valid for any day you like, in December just like the rest of the year, and the tour starts once the whole team has arrived. Short-notice bookings work too.
Around three hours. That makes it the first half of the evening: the tour first, then dinner with plenty to talk about.
The tour takes place outdoors in Mering, and you can pause it at any point. If the rain gets heavy or the snow piles up, warm up somewhere dry and pick up right where you left off. Warm jackets and sturdy shoes are part of a Christmas party in December.
