Front and centre is the Xmas Adventure, our tour for the festive season. You can book any of these tours as a team building event.
In teams, you puzzle your way through Motala, collect points, and afterwards celebrate the team with the most points over dinner. The programme comes from myCityHunt, you choose the venue and menu yourselves.
A Christmas party in Motala with myCityHunt works like this: we bring the programme, you bring the venue and the menu. That division makes sense, because your teams are out in the centre of Motala, close to the restaurants that will host the rest of the evening. Once the app calls the final checkpoint, the walk to dinner is short.
The programme itself is a puzzle tour, played in teams through our app. In Motala you can choose between Xmas Adventure, Escape Game, Murder Mystery Tour and Treasure Hunt — the format you pick decides the character of the evening, but the mechanics stay the same: the app shows the route, sets the riddles, codes and photo challenges, and takes in the answers as they come. Teams make their way past Motala Church, the old transmitter mast and other corners of the centre, roughly four kilometres on foot and about three hours all told, though how briskly any one team moves is entirely up to them. A team chat keeps everyone connected, a live leaderboard tracks who's ahead, and every photo lands in one shared gallery that the whole company can look back on later. Nobody needs anything beyond a charged phone.
Pricing starts from € 16.99 per person plus VAT. You set the date and time yourselves when booking, and booking stays open up to two days before the event. We invoice, or take credit card and PayPal, always with a proper VAT invoice to follow.
Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors. Whether industry, retail, government or services: myCityHunt scavenger hunts are an excellent teambuilding event for your company outing, department party or team event - and that at 6,467 locations around the world.
How about a puzzle tour through Motala with the myCityHunt app as the program before dinner? Your team heads out in small groups, solves challenges at landmarks across the city, and competes team against team for the top spot on the live leaderboard. Several themes are available, and the tour ends in time for the meal.
The tour comes before the meal: about three hours outdoors in Motala, and everyone is back in time for dinner. You book the restaurant, and the program before it comes from myCityHunt. For the organizer, that leaves little more to do than picking the date and putting the teams together.
A Christmas party that starts out in the city instead of at the table: your company splits into teams and heads through Motala before the meal, collecting points against the other teams. If a team gets stuck, a myCityHunt guide is just a chat message away. The date is yours to pick, even at short notice in December, and venue and menu stay entirely your decision.
The tour through Motala is priced from € 16.99 per person, and you receive an invoice for the booking. Food and drinks afterward are planned by you, so the budget for the evening stays in your hands.
Yes, in a single booking, split into teams that all start together. The price per person stays the same regardless of group size. Mixing departments when forming the teams works well and gets colleagues talking who otherwise rarely cross paths.
You choose the date and the time. The booking is valid for any day you like, in December just like the rest of the year, and the tour starts once the whole team has arrived. Short-notice bookings work too.
Around three hours. That makes it the first half of the evening: the tour first, then dinner with plenty to talk about.
The tour takes place outdoors in Motala, and you can pause it at any point. If the rain gets heavy or the snow piles up, warm up somewhere dry and pick up right where you left off. Warm jackets and sturdy shoes are part of a Christmas party in December.
