Front and centre is the Xmas Adventure, our tour for the festive season. You can book any of these tours as a team building event.
In teams, you puzzle your way through Nieheim, collect points, and afterwards celebrate the team with the most points over dinner. The programme comes from myCityHunt, you choose the venue and menu yourselves.
A Christmas party in Nieheim with myCityHunt works because the two halves of the evening stay separate and fit together anyway. We bring the programme, you bring the table. Your teams play a puzzle tour through the centre of Nieheim — on foot, phone in hand, no extra equipment — and once the last answer is in, the restaurant you have booked is only a short walk away. You keep the venue and the menu you already had in mind; we take care of what happens before the starters arrive.
In Nieheim you can choose between Xmas Adventure, Escape Game, Murder Mystery Tour and Treasure Hunt, each a puzzle tour with its own character but the same mechanics: the app sets riddles, codes and photo challenges, collects every answer, and keeps a live leaderboard so teams can see how they're doing against each other. The route is fixed for the tour you pick, leading your colleagues past the Holsterturm, Kreuzkirche and the Rathaus Nieheim, roughly four kilometres and about three hours, though how briskly any one team moves is entirely down to them. A shared gallery fills up with the photos along the way, which makes for good viewing once everyone's sat down to dinner.
Pricing starts at € 16.99 per person plus VAT, and you set the date and time yourselves when booking — right up to two days beforehand, which suits how Christmas party planning actually goes. Invoice, card or PayPal all work, and you'll get a proper VAT invoice whichever you choose.
Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors. Whether industry, retail, government or services: myCityHunt scavenger hunts are an excellent teambuilding event for your company outing, department party or team event - and that at 6,467 locations around the world.
How about a puzzle tour through Nieheim with the myCityHunt app as the program before dinner? Your team heads out in small groups, solves challenges at landmarks across the city, and competes team against team for the top spot on the live leaderboard. Several themes are available, and the tour ends in time for the meal.
The tour comes before the meal: about three hours outdoors in Nieheim, and everyone is back in time for dinner. You book the restaurant, and the program before it comes from myCityHunt. For the organizer, that leaves little more to do than picking the date and putting the teams together.
A Christmas party that starts out in the city instead of at the table: your company splits into teams and heads through Nieheim before the meal, collecting points against the other teams. If a team gets stuck, a myCityHunt guide is just a chat message away. The date is yours to pick, even at short notice in December, and venue and menu stay entirely your decision.
The tour through Nieheim is priced from € 16.99 per person, and you receive an invoice for the booking. Food and drinks afterward are planned by you, so the budget for the evening stays in your hands.
Yes, in a single booking, split into teams that all start together. The price per person stays the same regardless of group size. Mixing departments when forming the teams works well and gets colleagues talking who otherwise rarely cross paths.
You choose the date and the time. The booking is valid for any day you like, in December just like the rest of the year, and the tour starts once the whole team has arrived. Short-notice bookings work too.
Around three hours. That makes it the first half of the evening: the tour first, then dinner with plenty to talk about.
The tour takes place outdoors in Nieheim, and you can pause it at any point. If the rain gets heavy or the snow piles up, warm up somewhere dry and pick up right where you left off. Warm jackets and sturdy shoes are part of a Christmas party in December.
