In 1934, the first major consolidation work was carried out based on a technical report by architect Germán Tejera de la Torre. Between 1945 and 1948, further renovations were undertaken by Arturo Roldán Palomo, followed by restoration works on the façades by Eusebio Serrano Fernández in 1953.
The most significant renovation took place in 1993, under the guidance of architect José Manuel González Valcárcel. In 1986, following the demolition of the nearby Posada del Rincón, additional administrative offices were constructed. Designed by architect José Luis Mora Sánchez, these new offices, completed in 1991, provided much-needed space for the town’s growing administrative functions. In 2011, further expansion was carried out, incorporating part of an adjacent building to accommodate the increasing demands of the town’s administration.
