Front and centre is the Xmas Adventure, our tour for the festive season. You can book any of these tours as a team building event.
In teams, you puzzle your way through Haarlem, collect points, and afterwards celebrate the team with the most points over dinner. The programme comes from myCityHunt, you choose the venue and menu yourselves.
The puzzle tour is the part of the evening you don't have to invent yourselves: a route through Haarlem, loaded onto the app, playable in teams from the first charged phone. Depending on the mood you're after, you pick Xmas Adventure, Escape Game, Murder Mystery Tour, Treasure Hunt or Scavenger Hunt — all run the same way, all built around riddles, codes and photo challenges that the app sets and scores as the teams move. Around four kilometres, about three hours, past Grote Kerk, the Cathedral of Saint Bavo and the old Hoofdwacht. A team chat keeps everyone connected, a leaderboard keeps score, and the photos land in one shared gallery everyone can look back on later.
The route itself is fixed for each tour — the app leads every team along the same stations, past the Corrie ten Boom Museum or towards De Adriaan, depending on which format you book — but how quickly a team gets through it is entirely up to them. That's the point: we bring the programme, you bring the room and the menu. Because the teams are out in the centre of Haarlem, finishing near the restaurants, the walk from the last riddle to dinner is short, and the evening moves from game to table without anyone standing around waiting for a bus.
Prices start from € 16.99 per person plus VAT. You set the date and time when you book, and booking stays open up to two days before the event. Invoices are settled by bank transfer, credit card or PayPal, and you always get a proper VAT invoice for your records.
Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors. Whether industry, retail, government or services: myCityHunt scavenger hunts are an excellent teambuilding event for your company outing, department party or team event - and that at 6,467 locations around the world.
How about a puzzle tour through Haarlem with the myCityHunt app as the program before dinner? Your team heads out in small groups, solves challenges at landmarks across the city, and competes team against team for the top spot on the live leaderboard. Several themes are available, and the tour ends in time for the meal.
The tour comes before the meal: about three hours outdoors in Haarlem, and everyone is back in time for dinner. You book the restaurant, and the program before it comes from myCityHunt. For the organizer, that leaves little more to do than picking the date and putting the teams together.
A Christmas party that starts out in the city instead of at the table: your company splits into teams and heads through Haarlem before the meal, collecting points against the other teams. If a team gets stuck, a myCityHunt guide is just a chat message away. The date is yours to pick, even at short notice in December, and venue and menu stay entirely your decision.
The tour through Haarlem is priced from € 16.99 per person, and you receive an invoice for the booking. Food and drinks afterward are planned by you, so the budget for the evening stays in your hands.
Yes, in a single booking, split into teams that all start together. The price per person stays the same regardless of group size. Mixing departments when forming the teams works well and gets colleagues talking who otherwise rarely cross paths.
You choose the date and the time. The booking is valid for any day you like, in December just like the rest of the year, and the tour starts once the whole team has arrived. Short-notice bookings work too.
Around three hours. That makes it the first half of the evening: the tour first, then dinner with plenty to talk about.
The tour takes place outdoors in Haarlem, and you can pause it at any point. If the rain gets heavy or the snow piles up, warm up somewhere dry and pick up right where you left off. Warm jackets and sturdy shoes are part of a Christmas party in December.
