Front and centre is the Xmas Adventure, our tour for the festive season. You can book any of these tours as a team building event.
In teams, you puzzle your way through Jever, collect points, and afterwards celebrate the team with the most points over dinner. The programme comes from myCityHunt, you choose the venue and menu yourselves.
A Christmas party in Jever works best when nobody has to invent the evening from scratch. You bring the room and the menu - most companies already have both sorted, somewhere near the old town. We bring the part that gets your people talking before the starters arrive: a puzzle tour, played in teams through the app, winding through the streets of Jever past Schlossmuseum Jever, the GröschlerHaus and the Fräulein-Maria-Denkmal. No guide, no clipboard - just phones, a fixed route, and roughly three hours of riddles, codes and photo challenges that pull colleagues who never normally talk into the same small team.
The app runs the whole thing: it shows each team where to go next, collects their answers, and keeps a live leaderboard running so everyone can see who's ahead. A team chat lets the groups needle each other along the way, and all the photos land in one shared gallery afterwards - useful for the slideshow nobody has to make, because it makes itself. In Jever you can choose between formats such as Xmas Adventure, Escape Game, Murder Mystery Tour and Treasure Hunt, depending on the tone you're after. Whichever you pick, the route is fixed and the pace is entirely up to each team - some will stroll, some will sprint, both arrive with stories to tell over dinner.
Once the tour ends, the walk to your table is short, since the whole thing plays out in the centre of Jever, close to wherever you're eating. Pricing starts from € 16.99 per person plus VAT, you set the date and time when booking, and you can book right up to two days beforehand. Payment is by invoice, credit card or PayPal, with a proper VAT invoice every time - so the only thing left to organise is the seating plan.
Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors. Whether industry, retail, government or services: myCityHunt scavenger hunts are an excellent teambuilding event for your company outing, department party or team event - and that at 6,467 locations around the world.
How about a puzzle tour through Jever with the myCityHunt app as the program before dinner? Your team heads out in small groups, solves challenges at landmarks across the city, and competes team against team for the top spot on the live leaderboard. Several themes are available, and the tour ends in time for the meal.
The tour comes before the meal: about three hours outdoors in Jever, and everyone is back in time for dinner. You book the restaurant, and the program before it comes from myCityHunt. For the organizer, that leaves little more to do than picking the date and putting the teams together.
A Christmas party that starts out in the city instead of at the table: your company splits into teams and heads through Jever before the meal, collecting points against the other teams. If a team gets stuck, a myCityHunt guide is just a chat message away. The date is yours to pick, even at short notice in December, and venue and menu stay entirely your decision.
The tour through Jever is priced from € 16.99 per person, and you receive an invoice for the booking. Food and drinks afterward are planned by you, so the budget for the evening stays in your hands.
Yes, in a single booking, split into teams that all start together. The price per person stays the same regardless of group size. Mixing departments when forming the teams works well and gets colleagues talking who otherwise rarely cross paths.
You choose the date and the time. The booking is valid for any day you like, in December just like the rest of the year, and the tour starts once the whole team has arrived. Short-notice bookings work too.
Around three hours. That makes it the first half of the evening: the tour first, then dinner with plenty to talk about.
The tour takes place outdoors in Jever, and you can pause it at any point. If the rain gets heavy or the snow piles up, warm up somewhere dry and pick up right where you left off. Warm jackets and sturdy shoes are part of a Christmas party in December.
